Q: Will your pans function well on induction cooktops?

A: Yes! Our pans will work well on all available heat sources, including magnetic induction cooktops

Q:  Where are your products made?

A: We make all of our goods by hand, right here, in Charlottesville, Virginia. Meet our team here.

Q: Is your cookware non-stick? 

A: Yes! Our cookware ships with what we call a pre-seasoning... it has been treated with coconut oil and baked at a high temp. You may cook right away, though your pan will perform better with time and use. Follow these steps for the best results. 

Q: What are your pans made of?

A: Our steel cookware is made entirely of mild carbon steel (1018). Our copper cookware is made of solid copper with a hand-applied tin lining, and bronze handles.

Shipping FAQ's

Q: How long will it take for my order to ship?

A: Generally packages are shipped within 5-7 days of the order date, though they can take up to two weeks. During the holiday season, orders may take longer to ship out; however any changes to our policy of a two week lead time are announced on our website before you place your order.

If you have any concerns about shipment lead times (or need a rushed shipment), reach out to us and we can help address your concerns.

Q:  Will I be notified when my package ships?

A: Yes; you will receive an email with tracking information once the carrier has picked up and scanned your package.

Q: What shipping services do you use?

A: We primarily use UPS Ground for domestic shipping and DHL Express for international shipments.

Q: Can you offer different shipping services?

A: Due to some previous shipments being lost and/or damaged, we do not offer USPS as a standard option for shipping. However we can make exceptions to this policy if you prefer the lowered cost (at the extra risk of delayed/lost shipments).

Q: Can you ship to APO addresses?

A: Yes. Send us an email for further instructions regarding APO shipments.

Q: How do you determine shipping costs?

A: For domestic shipments, our website determines shipping costs based directly on estimates provided by UPS using box size and weight, with an additional handling fee.

For international orders, we use a flat rate per item estimate based on the destination of the package.
