Forged and Pressed
Raw carbon steel is heated and pressed into form in our Waynesboro, Virginia, workshop. This step sets the foundation—melding strength, durability, and purpose into every piece before it’s shaped by hand.

Shaped by Hammers
While still hot, skilled blacksmiths hammered each pan on the anvil, sculpting its profile and leaving the maker’s mark. Once cooled, the handle is cold-hammered and hand-riveted for a seamless, lasting fit.

Finished with Fire
Every pan is sandblasted and kiln-fired to create a natural iron oxide layer that protects and deepens its color. A final rub of hot coconut oil seals and seasons it—ready for its first flame.
