Our Beginning
Founded in 2012 by blacksmith Corry Blanc, Blanc Creatives is a small-batch cookware company based in Charlottesville, Virginia. What began at a farmers market has grown into a nationally recognized brand trusted by professional chefs and passionate home cooks alike.
We craft each piece by hand—from carbon steel pans to wooden utensils and kitchen tools—with a singular focus: blending timeless design with everyday performance. Our award-winning cookware is used in some of the country’s top kitchens, including Blue Hill and Contra in New York City.
Blanc Creatives was honored with the top award in Garden & Gun’s Made in the South Awards. Every piece we create reflects a deep respect for materials, craftsmanship, and the people who use our products.

Our Philosophy
Craft with Purpose
At Blanc Creatives, we make cookware the slow way—by hand, by fire, by feel. No shortcuts. Every pan is crafted in our Waynesboro, Virginia workshop using time-honored blacksmithing techniques refined over a decade. We’re rooted in tradition, guided by experience, and driven by a belief that tools should be made with intention.
Where Beauty Meets Utility
Each piece is shaped by skilled artisans who imbue it with character and individuality. Our products are not stamped or cast—they’re crafted. Our designs balance modern aesthetics with lasting functionality. Whether on the stove or the table, our pieces elevate the cooking experience through thoughtful form and chef-grade performance.
Built to Last, Made to Matter
We create durable, sustainable culinary tools meant to last a lifetime. By reducing the need for replacements, we help minimize waste and foster a deeper appreciation for the things you own. Made from materials like carbon steel, copper, and local hardwoods, Blanc cookware evolves over time — developing a one-of-a-kind patina. These are heirloom-quality pieces, built to perform beautifully and last for generations.
Connection Through Craft
We build personal connections between maker and user—because when you know what went into a piece, you care more deeply for it. That bond extends from our artisans to our customers and into the communities we serve. We’re here for the long haul. Our team is dedicated to delivering not just great products but excellent service. We stand behind every piece with responsive customer care and a satisfaction guarantee that reflects our values.
A Return to the Handmade
In a world of mass production, we’re a beacon of authenticity. Every pan, spoon, and tool is handcrafted in small batches with American-sourced materials and a respect for tradition. We aim to revive a culture that values what’s real, what lasts, and what’s made by human hands.
Our Core Values
Intentionality
We design with meaning, choosing quality over quantity. Every curve, handle, and finish has a purpose—form never comes without function.
Craftsmanship
Each product is meticulously made by hand, reflecting the skill, patience, and pride of our team. From Corry’s first sketch to the final polish, every tool passes through the hands of true artisans.
Performance
Trusted by professional chefs and beloved by home cooks, our tools are built to withstand high heat, heavy use, and the demands of daily life—without sacrificing elegance.
Sustainability
Sustainability is more than a buzzword—it’s a responsibility. We don’t believe in greenwashing. We believe in durability, transparency, and thoughtful design that honors the maker and the environment. That means using honest materials, producing in small batches, low-impact production methods, and designing with longevity in mind. No coatings. No overproduction. No planned obsolescence. We source our materials responsibly, using American-made carbon steel and regional hardwoods. Every piece undergoes multiple inspections to ensure it meets the highest standards before it ships. Less waste. More purpose.
Transparency
We don’t believe in greenwashing. We believe in showing our work—honest materials, open processes, and a commitment to doing things the right way, not the easy way.
Customer Commitment
We stand behind our products for life. Our customers regularly travel hours just to visit us in person—because they know we’ll go the extra mile to ensure every piece meets their needs.
Community & Leadership
We foster a culture of growth and ownership. Corry leads by design but shares the process, mentoring our team to run a business within a business. Blanc is also deeply connected to our local community, supporting regional partners and suppliers who share our values.
