Blanc Creatives crafts premium culinary tools, including carbon steel cookware, bakeware, barware, and cutlery, all hand-crafted in Virginia with heirloom-quality and chef-trusted performance.
Every piece is inspected multiple times throughout the making process by our skilled craftspeople. Natural variations, such as surface blemishes, subtle discoloration, or light tooling marks, are a normal part of handmade work and meet our rigorous quality standards. These do not affect performance or longevity.
Knives that don’t meet our criteria for “Firsts” are offered at a discount on our Garage Sale / Seconds page. These “Seconds” may include minor cosmetic imperfections, such as pits, extra hammer marks, or uneven finishes—most of which soften with use and do not affect function.
Over time, each knife will develop a rich patina, reflecting the meals it’s prepared and the hands that have used it. We proudly guarantee every Blanc Creatives product for life, and we’re here for the long haul of your cooking journey.

This 11" Pro Saucier pan (w/loop handles) remains on top of my stove for everyday use. I absolutely love it. :D
I would like advice on how often I should re-season these pans. I did it one in my home on a gas stove top using avocado oil approx. 15 minutes and it took days to remove the smell (Smoke) odor.
I have a gas grill outdoors for the next time and that is what I'll use. Can you provide additional insight please? Also, I want new pots and a 9" pan (with cover) to complete this set
Please advise
I’m just getting started with my new pan, Alton Brown was my inspiration. The pan is a great size, heats evenly and is fast becoming my go to method for making all my family’s favorites. I highly recommend it for your kitchen too.
This is my second Blanc Creatives product and I love it just as much as the first. I cook every night and prefer stove top to oven for most food. After years of buying and disposing of temporary cookware, I have what I need for a lifetime. The initial cost is high, but if you factor in the cost of replacing pans every couple of years (and throwing them in the trash) Blanc Creatives products are a bargain.
I have coveted one of these pans for many years after taking a southern cooking class with Gail Hobbs. I finally decided to treat myself to one! Love cooking with it- and it's currently gracing the cooktop because it's so beautiful. (there is room in the cabinet for the pan but for now it it sits on the cooktop, ready to use!) My husband says it's a piece of art! Thank you, Blanc Creatives, for your addition to our cooking enjoyment.
What an incredible pan!!! Super flat on my induction stove. Weight is just right. A pleasure to cook with and looks beautiful in the table. Buy this man’s stuff and give away your old pans! I am super picky and I cannot think of anything I would want different.
After seasoning on my grill first dish I made was to brown a little butter, add some garlic to toss some ravioli I made. What a delight to use this pan.
I have an outdoor kitchen and have various sources of heat. I need cookware that could stand up to my different methods of cooking. My Blanc Creatives can go from the woodfired oven straight to the table with beautiful presentation. I have a Komado grill and will use the sauciers in that and I have gas burners in which I can use my skillets. All of my cookware has served me well and I get lots of compliments on the beauty of each piece of cookware
Hands down the best carbon steel skillets I own. I love that they are lighter than cast iron yet still weighty enough to ensure that the heat distribution and control is excellent. (Lesser pans are often much thinner and have a tendency to run too hot.) Plus they're beautiful. The loop handle saucier is the perfect size for going stove-top to oven or for roasting a chicken.
The skillet is the best I have ever owned. It was easy to season and it nothing sticks and I'm getting perfect sears. I love it using it so much, I purchased the saucier. The investment was well worth it considering I expect to have these pans for a lifetime.
First the pan is beautiful. then it is so functional: great heat transfer, and even heating. I have cooked eggs, sausage, bacon, pork chops and chicken in it all cam out well, only one thing really stuck. I re-seasoned the pan and all is good.
TLDR 4/5 stars for flawless performance and design, which outweigh the finish issues I experienced.
I'm a repeat customer, and this is the second 11" Pro Saucier I've purchased. The first one, which I bought in 2021, was marketed as "slightly flawed" and discounted accordingly — yet to this day, I still can't tell what the flaw was. It's a beautiful piece, inside and out, and has been an absolute workhorse in my kitchen. It performs flawlessly and has held up incredibly well.
Because of that great experience, I purchased a second one in 2025. Unfortunately, this time the quality wasn't the same. The first pan I received had visible rings/marring and palpable grooves along the outside. It didn’t look or feel like a finished piece. I exchanged it, but the available replacements all had similar issues. I chose the one with the least visible flaws on the outside.
Alas, when exchanging I was too focused on the outside of the saucier. Once I got home, I noticed two small, shiny tool marks right on the lip of the pan where one of the handles connects. It's a minor detail, but it reinforces the feeling that the fit and finish aren't what they used to be.
That said, this saucier still performs beautifully. I love the shape, depth, and weight. Before repurchasing, I did search for less expensive alternatives, but none of them had the same depth or compact dual loop handle design. The alternates all had a long handle that gets in the way, and even a scant 1/4" off the depth of my Blanc would leave me with spillage now & then.
This pan still stands out for its functionality, but the cosmetic flaws on my second purchase were disappointing, especially at a premium price point.
